這座神社曾因地震而倒塌，如今已完全恢復成原本的模樣。

就在那樣的某一天，發生了一件讓博麗神社的巫女博麗靈夢大吃一驚的事。

那就是博麗神社附近突然升起的白色柱狀物，也就是間歇泉。

平常只要發生什麼事，她都會前去解決，但這次發生的事卻是讓她

在驚訝的同時也感到欣喜的事。

間歇泉本應融化積雪，並在周圍湧出能療癒無論人類或妖怪身體疲勞的溫泉。

——然而，靈夢的樂觀判斷落空了。

從間歇泉湧出的不只有溫泉水。

一個接一個湧出的異形之物。

那是地靈——居住於地底的人們。

[About the Touhou Project system requirements]

Basically, if your PC runs Windows, the current titles can be launched,

but for older titles such as Touhou Koumakyou, Youyoumu, and Eiyashou, they may not start properly depending on the conditions at startup.

In that case, you will need to install an older version of DirectX or change settings in each game’s properties.

Hakurei Shrine in the winter snow.

The shrine had once collapsed due to an earthquake, but now it had completely returned to its original form.

Then, one day, something happened that startled the shrine maiden of Hakurei Shrine, Reimu Hakurei.

It was a sudden white pillar rising near Hakurei Shrine, a geyser.

Normally, whenever something happens, she heads out to resolve it, but this incident was something that

surprised her while also making her glad.

The geyser was supposed to melt the snow and bring forth hot springs around it that would relieve the fatigue of both humans and youkai.

-- However, Reimu's optimistic prediction was wrong.

What was gushing from the geyser was not only hot spring water.

One strange being after another emerged.

They were the earth spirits -- those who live underground.
