Information on consignment sales of works
Our company operates an online shopping site and store called AKIBA-HOBBY.
We sell works by circles on consignment regardless of the medium, such as music CDs, books, and goods.In addition to selling our products at our directly managed store, "Akiba Hobby Akihabara Store," and supplying our products to affiliated retailers , we also offer a service for listing products in certain categories on Amazon .

About consignment
The basic flow is as follows:
Circle registration → Work registration → Order after review by our sales staff → Delivery
Regarding your works, we welcome your information on past works as well as new works from circles.
We accept orders for small quantities, so please feel free to contact us for any enquiries.
Terms of Trade
- The basic condition is that the wholesale price is 70% of the sales price.
- We will discuss other transaction terms and conditions after showing you the circle's work.
*As a general rule, we ask all circles to handle items on a consignment basis.
*If you wish to purchase, please ask for a lower rate. Also, to avoid risks, we may order small quantities. Thank you for your understanding.
Payments and reporting
- In the case of consignment sales, the closing date is the end of the month (counted from the 1st to the end of the
- Online report in the middle of the following month
(You can check by logging into the dedicated report web page.New circles will be issued an account at this point.) - Payment will be made at the end of the reporting month.
*However, if the end of the month falls on a holiday or consecutive holidays, the transfer will be made within 1-2 days before or after the first bank business day of the following month.
(For example, payments due at the end of December will be transferred around January 4th or 5th.)
Regarding the consignment period
The contract period is basically one year.
If there is no request from us or the circle, the period will be automatically extended by one month.
If we decide to terminate the contract due to our request, we will consult with the circle in advance. (There are no sudden returns.)
Information on ending inventory used in tax returns
Regarding inventory as of the end of December, which is necessary for circles to file tax returns,
Please use the commissioned report from December 1st to 31st (report around mid-January, payment at the end of January).
About consumption tax
We will add consumption tax to all sales totals and pay for all our business partners.
Therefore, when registering your work, please be sure to register the price excluding consumption tax.
Bank transfer fee
If the payment amount is less than 3,000 yen, the payment will be carried over to the following month.
Regarding transfer fees, if the transfer is made outside Japan Net Bank, 172 yen to 270 yen will be deducted from the payment amount.

Please note that the return period is approximately 2 weeks to 1 month due to various procedures.
Regarding the return method
1: Return (1 location)
2: Purchase (5 yen purchase → special price sale)
3: Discard (1 yen purchase → Discard)
You can choose from three patterns:
Due to the nature of consignment sales, please refrain from requesting returns within 3 months of the start of consignment.

We handle works based on the guidelines.
Regarding overseas mail order and store sales
Our company sells overseas via mail order (directly managed stores/stores) and over-the-counter sales (Akiba Hobby Taipei Sanso Store).
Our direct overseas mail order service is available to all circles.
Regarding overseas sales partner stores, we will only target those circles that have given their consent.
