I participated in North America's largest anime event, "Anime Expo 2025"!

Hello, everyone.

This is AKIBA-HOBBY's public relations representative.
We exhibited at Anime Expo 2025, North America's largest anime convention, held in Los Angeles, USA, from Thursday, July 3 to Sunday, July 6, 2025.
We'd like to bring you a report on the venue!

[Event Overview]

・Exhibit location: [Exhibit Hall] Booth#SH3650 (at AKIBA-HOBBY / PARTHENON.P)

This time, we headed to the Los Angeles Convention Center, bringing advance sales of the new Touhou Project product, "FumoFumo T-shirts," event-exclusive products, Touhou plush series items from Gift Co., Ltd., and official character goods from "NEEDY STREAMER OVERLOAD," "Genshin Impact," and "Honkai: Star Rail."

[The AKIBA-HOBBY Booth Is Born!]

After setup: This is what it looked like! (About 1,100 types of plushies, goods, and CDs were displayed.)

After opening:
Since overseas sales of Touhou Project goods are rare, we spotted a few customers in Touhou cosplay.

At a venue roughly equivalent to five Tokyo Domes (about 1.3 Tokyo Big Sights), visitors came from more than 65 countries worldwide,
Approximately 410,000 anime and game fans visited.

Considering that about 250,000 people attended this summer's Comiket (Comic Market 106),
You can see just how large-scale it is!

There were too many booths to introduce them all, so we'll pick out a few to show you!

■HoYoverse Honkai: Star Rail Booth

It was just in time for the Fate collaboration, and the collaboration PV was playing!

■HoYoverse Genshin Impact Booth

There was a photo booth where you could take pictures with a Skirk cosplayer.
Too gorgeous...

■HoYoverse Zenless Zone Zero Booth

Goods using illustrations from "ZZZ HUB 2025," held in Japan from 7/10,
They were available for advance sale!

Near the HoYoverse booth, collaboration apparel with Star Rail and ZZZ was being sold
There was an M.RAGE / ASTRAL SYSTEMS booth! Great designs...
(It was sooooo cold inside the venue that wearing a jacket was just right...!)

■SUNBORN Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium Booth

Commemorating the implementation of Springfield, Peri, and Misty
They were selling goods. (For some reason, only this one was outside... the sunlight hurts.)

■Hypergryph Arknights: Endfield Booth

Clear missions such as game demos to get novelty items
a campaign was being held.

■Food Court

There was no booth, but at the outdoor food court,
Wuthering Waves collaboration ice cream was being sold! Ahh... I'm revived!

■South Hall Lobby - Gunma-chan Special Show!

Last is Gunma-chan. As someone who also calls Gunma Prefecture home,
We can't take our eyes off Gunma-chan's future success as it takes flight around the world!

At Anime Expo, a "gathering" is where people gather in cosplay from various works
There are activities,
Touhou Project gatherings were planned for both Day 3 and Day 4.
This time, we received permission to feature three groups of cosplayers, so we would like to introduce them!

First up are cosplayers of the Scarlet sisters, Remilia / Flandre!
Remilia, with lavish use of lace, and Flandre, faithfully recreating her appearance from Embodiment of Scarlet Devil, are wonderful...

Next is double Hakurei Reimu! A miraculous pairing of Kourindou Reimu and muscular Reimu.

Last is Reimu in the style of the latest title, "Touhou Kinjoukyou"! ...That was fast.
I'm blown away by the quality of the purification wand.
