【アキバホビー秋葉原店】店内試聴機のヘッドホンをリニューアルしました!

[Akiba Hobby Akihabara Store] The headphones in the in-store listening station have been renewed!

In addition to large speakers, the Akihabara store has listening stations that can be used with a variety of headphones.

This time, we have completely redesigned the headphones, so we will introduce them one by one!

*This article contains a lot of personal opinions. I encourage you to try it for yourself.

SENNHEISER HD559

The manufacturer's name is pronounced "Sennheiser."

It's a major German audio manufacturer, and a name you'll often see in professional audio settings.

Personally, I saw a lot of microphones, so I had a strong impression of microphones, but they also sell a lot of listening equipment such as headphones.

The model installed at our store is called HD559, and it is an entry model of the HD500 series.

As for the all-important sound, as they are open-type headphones, it is easy to feel the airiness and immersion.

I also think that the overall sound is soft and warm. If you listen to the analog version of this, it will warm you up a lot.

Furthermore, the material of the ear pads that touch the skin is soft and pleasant to the touch, making them comfortable to wear.

YAMAHA HPH-MT5

From the well-known Yamaha.

Our main speakers are made by DIATONE, but we also have Yamaha speakers, so be sure to look for them.

HPH... I would think MT8 would be the best choice, but I'm currently using MT5.

These are a type of headphone called monitor headphones, and are basically made to have an even volume balance from high to low.

Various audio companies sell a variety of monitor headphones/earphones, each with their own sound depending on the company and model number.

The HPH-MT5 is characterised by its high range and sound spread.

I have the impression that the strength of the treble range and the spread of the sound make it stand out from the others in terms of the ease of distinguishing the drums.

Also, the overall impression of the sound is hard and cold. Recommended for those who like that. (I also like hard ones)

KOSS Porta Pro

This is the first time I've heard of KOSS, a long-established American audio manufacturer that created the world's first headphones.

The Porta Pro headphones from the great KOSS may first shock you with their shape.

Also, this song was used in a certain idol's music video, so some people may have heard of it that way.

As for the sound, I thought it was clear overall, and the mid-low range was a little stronger. Personally, I think it produces the best sound out of all the current headphones.

The device itself is very light, so it is comfortable to wear.

FOCAL LISTEN PRO

FOCAL is a French audio manufacturer.

It is highly rated by audio professionals.

I thought these headphones had a strong mid-to-high range and a brilliant sound.

On the other hand, the low-frequency thumping may feel lacking, so I think people's tastes may be divided.

These are currently the only closed-back listening headphones, and compared to monitors, they are less tiring to listen to and have a more immersive feel, so please give them a try.

SONY MDR-CD900ST

These are the aforementioned "monitor headphones" made by Sony.

This is a product that is truly universally used, boasting the number one market share in Japanese studios.

Currently, the company has released the "M1ST", and although it is undeniably a bit outdated, it is still usable. (Personally, I think there are some music genres that are suitable and some that are not.)

What's great about these headphones is that they bring out the vocals in a way that's unmatched by any other headphones.

When auditioning vocal songs, try this first.

Many people say that it is difficult to hear low frequencies. However, the overall balance sounds average, and it can be said to be the most monitor-like.

What did you think?

Opinions regarding sound, not just headphones, are mainly subjective, and each person has their own way of feeling it, so I'd like you to try it out and experience the sound for yourself.

Our listening devices allow you to listen to music from circles that have entrusted their music to us.

Please feel free to come and listen to any CDs that interest you, or that have a cover that makes you think "this is it!"
