Information about mail delivery (within Japan)

 

At AKIBA-HOBBY mail order, you can use "mail service" for deliveries within Japan.

■About mail service

・Mail service is a delivery method for small-sized products that has lower shipping fees than other delivery methods.
*Mail service delivery may take considerably longer than other delivery methods depending on the delivery area.

The domestic shipping fee for mail service in Japan is a flat rate of 385 yen (tax included).

You can use it for less than half the price of other delivery methods.

We will deliver the products to you using Yamato Transport's service 'Nekoposu'.

Please be sure to refer to our delivery policy for shipping fees and important notes regarding each delivery method.

■Important matters regarding mail service that we would like you to understand in advance

• Your address will receive mailbox delivery. Completion of delivery = completion of shipping
• Please be aware that we do not provide any compensation or support for theft, loss, or damage after the shipment of mail service.
• If the address (including building name or room number) is incomplete, it may be automatically returned by the delivery service as undeliverable. In that case, please note that the cancellation refund will be processed after deducting shipping fees, return shipping fees, and remittance fees.
• If your name is not on the mailbox or delivery box at the delivery address, or if the building name is incomplete in a multi-unit dwelling, there is a possibility of delivery accidents. We cannot take responsibility in such cases, so please be aware of this in advance. In that case, please note that the cancellation refund will be made after deducting shipping fees, return shipping fees, and remittance fees.
• If you have not notified the post office or similar about your new address when moving, delivery may be held or returned. In that case, please note that the cancellation refund will be made after deducting shipping fees, return shipping fees, and remittance fees.
• It may take 1 to 2 days from shipping to dispatch, and 2 to 10 days for arrival.
• There may be no deliveries on weekends and holidays. (Due to the delivery company's circumstances)
• As a guideline, available items include about 2 CDs, 1 DVD, thin flat items, card sleeves (box type not accepted), event catalogs (thick items like Comiket catalogs not accepted), etc.
• ※Even if delivery is possible as mentioned above, there may be cases where we cannot accept it at our discretion.
• Items that cannot be delivered include 'items with a thickness of 2.5cm or more after packaging', 'items larger than A4 size', 'fragile items like figures', 'items explicitly marked as not eligible for mail delivery', and 'items deemed difficult to ship by our company'.
• In the case of oversized items, your order may be canceled.
• Changes to the delivery address and forwarding cannot be accepted.
• Can only be used for deliveries within Japan.

・Products with a thickness of more than 2.5cm after packaging
・Products larger than A4 size
・Fragile items such as figures
・Items clearly marked as not available for Mail Service
・Items deemed difficult to ship by our company
・Items with a deadline such as catalogs (※depending on the sales period)
