She is one of the three fairies mainly featured in the book "Touhou Sangetsusei ~ Visionary Fairies in Shrine." She also appears as a boss in "Fairy Wars ~ Fairy Wars."

She has the ability to manipulate light refraction, bending light to create illusions that confuse humans and make them lose their way, or to make herself and her companions invisible. However, on rainy days, this becomes unnatural and makes her stand out ← very fairy-like behavior.
