The story is about teaming up with allied animal spirits who tipped them off that "the animal spirits of Hell are plotting to rule the surface by force," and setting out to defeat them before it happens.
The three who head to Hell are Reimu, Marisa, and Youmu.
This is a shooting game that is darker than usual, has more animal elements, and is a little more aggressive.
