[New] Kaguya Nishiki Shikishi, Ukiyo-e Style "Eientei" / Suwa Gensou Kikou Release Date: 2026年10月04日

This shikishi depicts Kaguya confronting lunar emissaries on Earth. Beneath the full moon, Mount Fuji towers in the distance beyond an endlessly stretching corridor. Kaguya sits quietly in seiza, waiting for the emissaries from the moon. In the darkness indoors are an unsheathed wakizashi, an overturned sake cup, and a hanging scroll depicting a baku. The uneasy atmosphere foreshadows the battle that is about to begin. The starry sky was recreated with reference to the view from “August 15, 700 CE, lunar calendar - western foothills of Mount Fuji.” Pisces and Cetus can be seen. The brocade adorning the shikishi features blue and gold as its main colors, with crane patterns symbolizing longevity.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------illust: MACHITO (Pixiv) Size: 22*15cm (entire shikishi) *This is a reproduced shikishi, not a hand-drawn shikishi.
