Spring 2013. The 13.5th "Touhou Shinkirou" and the 14th "Touhou Double Dealing Character" of the new Touhou Project series were announced and attracted many fans.
Of particular note was the "own character" that was assigned to the new work. It's the first new fighting game in two years, and the first shooting game in a year.
There were characters that hadn't hit the spot so far, and characters that were re-adopted as their own machines, and it was very crowded.

However, because there were many characters that had been used as their own machines until then, they were not adopted this time as well.
From many fans, complicated feelings such as "Why did this character not come?" "I'm happy personally ..." spread for a while.

Therefore, this time, we decided to focus only on the "former" own character that overflowed from the new works "Shinkirou" and "Double Dealing Character".
